Our founder, Jameel Abdur Raheem, has spent two decades in investment banking, risk management, and trading, and now he's on a mission to share that expertise with others.
His journey began at Elon University, where he studied finance on a football scholarship. After graduating, he stepped onto Wall Street, working at JP Morgan and managing risk across fixed income and derivatives. His role wasn't just about understanding market movements; it was about understanding high-stakes decisions and ensuring that billions of dollars in investment banking assets were protected and positioned for growth. His expertise took him beyond U.S. markets, as he trained a team in Mumbai, India, to oversee critical risk management systems.
Jameel earned top industry certifications, including the Series 7, Series 63, and Chartered Market Technician (CMT), further deepening his expertise in market analysis.
